 As a full-time Approved Adoption Practitioner with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Teresa is able to complete domestic and international homestudies.Teresa holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Social Work from Lakehead University. She is currently enrolled in the Adoption Studies Certificate Program through St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto. Teresa is a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers, Association of Private Practitioners in Adoption, Adoption Council of Ontario and the North American Council for Adoptable Children. In order to expand and refine her knowledge about adoption, Teresa regularly attends professional and educational workshops. As a mother to two children adopted from Hunan, China, Teresa has personal experience with the joys and complexities of international and trans-racial adoption. Teresa would like to offer you her assistance as you begin your adoption journey. |
